Item 1120 This beautiful Sterling silver Pendant is created with an Old # 8 Turquoise stone. It measures 1 1/2″ from the top of the large bale, and is hallmarked by the artist.

Old Number 8 turquoise is highly prized, both for its uniquely beautiful appearance, and especially for its rarity. Known for the golden brown to black distinctive spider web matrix and bright blues, Number 8 turquoise has been valued for its beauty since it was first discovered in 1929. The only mine, located in  Nevada, is no longer producing turquoise.
