Item 2027 This Old Number 8 Turquoise and Sterling Silver Ring is a size 8 3/4. It is hallmarked by the artist. The stone was in storage since the early 1980s. We aquired it and had our artisians create this beautiful work of art.

Old Number 8 turquoise is highly prized, both for its uniquely beautiful appearance, and especially for its rarity. Known for the golden brown to black distinctive spider web matrix and bright blues, Number 8 turquoise has been valued for its beauty since it was first discovered in 1929. The only mine, located in  Nevada, is no longer producing turquoise.
